Stolen lawnmower ends in arrest

One man still on the run.
Sunday, July 25 the Sheriff’s office received a call about a black S10 pickup truck with a stolen Husqvarna riding lawn mower in the back from Morgan County.

Sheriff Bob Jordan and Deputy Darvin Marsilett found the truck in the Bloomington Area, with Jamie M. Gamble standing outside of the vehicle. When they went to question him about the riding lawn mower, no longer in the back of the truck, they noticed he was under the influence.

Upon a search, they found a syringe with a clear liquid residue and a superglue bottle with two Roxycodones 30 milligrams.

Gamble was arrested and charged with public intoxication of a controlled substance (excluding alcohol), possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense, drug paraphernalia by possession, first offense.

Harold Risner is known to have been with Gamble at the time of the theft, and is currently on the run. When Jordan and Marsilett showed up to the scene, Risner fled on foot.

Both Gamble and Risner will be facing felony charges in Morgan County for the theft by unlawful taking over $500.
